Day 4 Dover,Salisbury, and my cousins b-day.

The Next day we rose bright and early and traveled on to Dover. It was a foggy day. It got more so as we traveled to the coast.
When we arrived in Dover we headed strait for Dover castle. It was a really cool place. We didn't get to go into the actual inside of the castle because it was closed, but we did the WW 2 tunnels ( REALLY COOL) and the OLD roman tunnels and walked around the outside of the castle. It was cold, but really fun.
Here are some pics!

It was a shame it wasn't clear skies. If it was, we'd have been able to see France.
The picture is of one of the many harbors. Do you see how high up we are??

JFYI We weren't supposed to take pictures of the tunnels. Sorry!!

I'm the one with the yellow cap, Kristian has the backpack, and Amy is the one in the vest.

THE WHITE CLIFFS OF DOVER
After Dover Castle we made our way to the cliffs. It was awesome! It was also pretty scary. It was really high up and it was windy and the path was close to the edge.
Everyone collected some fragments of the cliffs, took some pictures and then headed back to the cars.

Pictures if the cliffs.

Emma lLeaned over the edge to take a pic....*shiver*

NEXT TO SALISBURY
We then drove from Dover through Romsey on to Salisbury. We stayed in Salisbury at a B&B for
the night.

Some advice / thoughts on life.....

"When life is throwing all the negatives of the world at you, defeat them with a smile and a hearty laugh." :D

"When you go new places, pause for a moment and take it in by concentrating on smells, sounds, objects, buildings and the feeling of the area around you. It will make it more memorable."
